Not to pick, but why does the M16 or variation thereof seem to kick more in the video than the Thompson?

The Thompson has a compensator. I don't know what Tommy you shot but they are one of the easiest to control sub guns.

I believe the standard issue military version (M1A1) did not have the Cutts Compensator.
