Does the crowd in this short video clip remind you of a Third World mob? An election in a banana republic? Perhaps a staged assembly of the rabble and social scum that even Dr. Marx referred to with utter contempt as Lumpengesindel? Well, this mob is demonstrating against Arizona SB 1070 which PERFECTLY mirrors the federal law that Obama and his open-borders colleagues adamantly REFUSE to enforce. The citizens of Arizona are utterly overwhelmed by the illegal tsunami which is indeed turning their state into a Third World enclave. Taxes are soaring for bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals, social welfare services, prison incarceration and the ravages of the drug cartel. Phoenix is the kidnapping capital of the nation and narcotic and human smuggling are totally out-of-control.

Thanks for those good points of clarification. However, I don’t think the far Left and the open-borders lobbies care about facts. I’d even venture to say most of these factions KNOW the facts but are just spinning, ignoring and distorting them to advance their agenda. We all know that their latest crock is to say we need “comprehensive” immigration reform (to them, “amnesty”) first. We also know that they will NOT enforce any law curtailing illegal immigration because they’re already ignoring existing federal laws. This is why Arizonans, in desperation, passed 1070. Another specious argument from the open-borders crowd is that the law (despite very clear prohibitions) will allow racial profiling. They claim the police will still ‘profile’ people based on their skin color. This is NONSENSE. If we can’t trust the police to use any judgment in enforcing the law, where are we as a society? Furthermore, it ignores the obvious fact that any law enforcement agent who abuses the law in such manner would be subject to prosecution. This reality applies to ALL law enforcement! But, of course, in a world where our legislators don’t even read or understand their multi-thousand page bills - anything can happen!! Regards,

That’s why I think Arizona law should go before the Supreme Court. It’s very clear that the Justice Dept. under Eric Holder, who pardoned felon Marc Rich and refused to prosecute those black thugs who were racially intimidating voters at the polls, is a phony Attorney General who is a politically partisan and selective prosecutor. He enforces what fits his liberal ideology and ignores what doesn’t.

Very scary! A while back, Robert Rector of Heritage published the definitive scholarly and objective study of how out-of-control illegal immigration, if it continues at the present rate for about another 20 years, will destroy the economic, social, and political infrastructure of the United States. Rector was quoted by Sen. Jeff Sessions during the ‘06 debate on comprehensive immigration. He appeared on C-span, and many other media outlets. Despite the fact that everything he wrote and predicted is being played out every day, the politicians who chose to follow the open-borders crowd, ethnic Hispanic pressure groups, businesses who love that cheap labor with no benefits, are still running the show. The sad fact is that such elements don’t give a damn about America’s future if the truth conflicts with their partisan agenda. It won’t be the first time in history that a great nation ignored an obvious reality that was hastening its decline.

Definitely! The response of these vigilantes is as American as pizza pie: When the duly elected representatives of the people fail to establish and maintain law and order - then that responsibility devolves upon the citizenry. This isn’t the most desirable situation but it’s very imporant to remember that the ULTIMATE BLAME for creating the mess lies with those who failed to perform their legal obligations in the first place! By the way, the word “vigilante” reminds me of how a few years that word was disparagingly applied to law-abiding citizens who were forced to take action to defend their lives and property in the face of an illegal invasion that the federal government chose to ignore - and even encourage.

Invoke "dual sovereignty" and build an ARIZONA wall.

Use illegal aliens to build it (as punishment for violating state residency requirements; hence requiring no pay).

Cheers!

Arizona is home to Dillon Aero, a not insignificant manufacturer of 7.62 miniguns.

Feh...

Until (unless?) Arizona ignores FedGov and allows them to be mounted on private vehicles it doesn't make a damned bit of difference.

I wonder if this is what obama meant when he talked about “shovel ready jobs”?

"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or five years or fifteen years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they are going into Dallas, into El Paso, into Houston, into New Mexico, into San Diego, and each one will have embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans."

--Thomas Borge, Nicaragua Interior Minister as quoted in the Washington Times, March 27, 1985

I will take a .22 against a shovel so long as I get to decide when the guy with the shovel is close enough. I figure about three rounds at 100 yards will slow him down enough so I don’t have to worry. No, I have never shot a man but I have killed a dog at that range with a .22 rifle with iron sights. One of my brothers killed a dog at that distance with a .22 revolver. No, we don’t just go around shooting dogs for no reason but out in the country sometimes there are feral dogs that are dangerous.
