CA-37: centered on Compton. A majority black district, represented by Laura Richardson, the babe whose had multiple
foreclosures. In 2008, Richardson won re-election by a 75-25 margin over an Independent. The GOP didn't even field a candidate.
Parker probably has no shot at winning -- which is a shame. But it's fun to dream.

Star Parker philosophically seemed to be on the libertarian wing of the GOP a few years ago, but has moved more toward socially conservative viewpoints.

I had no idea where the 37th congressional district of California was until you posted that map. I grew up there.
Damn, she’s going to have an uphill battle in that place. It’s pure Obamaland. About as blue as it gets.
I love Star, and I hope like heck she can pull a rabbit out of a hat to win there.
