Do they need to do an EPA-mandated environmental impact study on the sucking barges?

Kooky question: If in times like this, an environment impact study seems ludicrous, why doesn’t it seem ludicrous all the time?

If it isn’t sane now, maybe it isn’t sane in general.

Instructive example of how big governments don’t work.

This is beyond simply "not working"... this is deliberate.

Keep NALCO’s name at the front of all such discussions....It’s the smoking gun IMO that has kept BO from taking action.

LOL! Expect an IRS audit, post haste. That’s the only thing holding me back from writing him a scathing letter.

We are small business owners.

Jindal needs to get on tv right now and make some noise. But I am thinking this story came out to late today to get any play tonight.

Wow. I cant believe it. seriously
______________

I can.

It’s time for Governor Jindal to tell an armed Louisiana National Gaurd to board the barges and KEEP working, and DARE the Feds and the Coast Guard to stop them from TRYING to save what’s left of their beaches, marshes, wildlife, fishing and tourist industries. SCREW Washington.

These vessels would have had to be inspected BEFORE they left wherever they were docked....and I'm sure they were.

Maritime Laws are very strict. I read that they eventually waived the inspection.

I don't believe there is any power who can do that during peace time conditions....so lets call it what it is....harrassment.

Yelp, just like he’s looking out for the state of Arizona....My latest thought is that ‘they’ don’t want to stop the flow of drugs...Their own use would have to be stopped....Just saying!

Part two of “Never let a crisis go to waste.” is “Never allow a crisis to be solved before your ulterior motives have been realized.”
