Yup, the ACLU would be dumb enough to think that the Intrepid is government-owned. It isn't, it's owned by the museum foundation (but the USN still has some oversee and reclamation/repossession rights)
And it shouldn't be USS Intrepid because the ship has been struck off the Naval Vessel Register for a few decades now. The proper term to use is ex-USS Intrepid.
