Chicago’s showdown over WalMart pits Blacks desperate for work against Union Thugs and Democrats
The Collins Report ^ | June 10, 2010 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

WalMart is back knocking on Chicago’s door asking for permission to build a new store within the City’s boundaries.

In 2006 the mega store also tried to get approval for a store and the Marxist’s running the Windy City turned them away because their union thug masters slammed the door in WalMart’s face. What happened next would have embarrassed ordinary politicians but not that bunch. WalMart built a store one block outside of Chicago’s limits and had 25,000 mostly Black Chicagoans apply for the 325 available jobs.

Chicago’s Council ducking, hiding

A vote on WalMart’s new application has been stalled and delayed in the City’s Zoning Committee with the latest delay coming last week because its Chairman is wholly owned by union bosses who won’t allow the mega store into “their” city.

Citing a Loyola University study of Walmart’s Austin Texas store to back up their claims, unions have been whining about WalMart’s supposedly low pay and detrimental impact on neighboring stores, but an analysis done by The Chicago Sun Times (CST) shows those claims are little more than half truths and distortions.

Declaring the study’s data to be weak and inconclusive, CST found no evidence Austin had been damaged when WalMart opened its store. Admitting stores did close and 300 people lost their jobs as Loyola reported, but CST countered by showing the immediate area experienced a blossoming of new stores that hired approximately 300 workers. Moreover CST proved Loyola neglected to mention that the lost jobs paid an average of $2.75 less than the newly created jobs.

Chicago’s 11.3% unemployment means nothing to the unions and Democrats denying Blacks who are 17.1% unemployed a chance to work. With these people Party always comes first.

another example of Blacks being kicked in the teeth by Democrats controlled by unions. Will they ever learn and accept the truth?

Will they ever learn and accept the truth?

Not as long as they are being "educated" in union-run schools.

“...Will they ever learn and accept the truth?”

Absolutely NOT, unless they jettison the poverty pimps exploiting racism for personal fame, notoriety, and wealth in their Churches.

Yes, we can't have BLACK lifted UP and earn honest money through capitalism and private enterprise. Nope! They must believe that only the GOVERNMENT or a UNION will make things fair. They constantly screw themselves with this idiotic indoctrination.

Don’t know.

But I bet next election we’ll hear how the black community is “really” very conservative, wants school choice, is generally pro-life, anti-gay marriage, etc.

Just before they vote 97% Democrat.

Naturally, the people will blame “big Business.” It will be WalMart’s fault because they won’t run the biz like the chicago mob wants them to. You know, big payouts to bosses, light work for the employees, but with high salaries to go with that. It couldn’t fail!!

You mean the union bosses only care about their own personal power and not about jobs for regular people? Who would have guessed?

I’m ready for the flames, but here goes. After raising kids and observing grand kids I can’t help but draw one conclusion. It’s nature, not nuture. I think culture reflects the basic reality of the abilities of the individuals, not the other way around. There are exceptions to the bell curve, but there are truths in the old saws like “you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear”. I know it’s not P.C., but some things just stare you in the face.

Why would any business want to locate in the City of Chicago? Chicago has uncontrolled violent crime and any business would be victimized by high levels of theft. Plus all the politicians, community organizers and other extortionists will regularly hit you up for money. Add to that a workforce that is semi-literate at best with no work ethic or personal responsibility.

No business should want to locate anything in Chicago.

I truly hope WalMart decides to stay out of Chicago, rather than make a deal with the Union devil.

To be honest I was very pro-Walmart until they endorsed Obama-care to kill off smaller stores. Not impressed with them anymore.

So, when does Daley start building the Wall?

After all, he must keep Chicago’s citizens from being corrupted by the capitalist’s running dog lackeys, right?

Endorsing O-care was simply buying ‘protection’ from the mob.

Think about what happened to the Chamber of Commerce and others who dared speak the truth about O-care.

I believe Humana was ORDERED by O to cease and desist mailing information on O-care to it’s policy holders.

“Will they ever learn and accept the truth?”

Its not about truth. Its about power...and that’s what the Chicago Way is about...
