The center is meant to help the families of missing persons by providing support to families of the missing and by reducing the challenges they face, challenges that Beth Holloway says she dealt with when her own daughter disappeared.
She also hopes it will prevent more missing persons cases by providing travel safety tips and advice for college and high school students.

I won’t go all the way there, either. But, I would say a key rule is not to go off with strange men somewhere, to always stay with the group you are traveling with, etc. I’m very sad this woman lost her daughter. It’s very sad that from what we know, some common sense behavior would have kept her out of danger.
How about ensuring your daughter is safe and not let her trapes off to an Island after high school graduation. What a dippy mother. I quite frankly am so depressed to have her back in the news. She is a disgrace and I cannot believe that she is not somehow responsible for her death in some way. I guess bad parenting or judgement is not reason to go to jail.
It is even worse because he got the money to travel to Peru by extortion of Beth Holloway.
I am sorry but I don’t see how this site is going to help folks who are down in the Islands. I can’t imagine teens who are ready for sex and booze are going to stop by DC and find out safety information. Kids don’t think anything will happen to them.

Yes, natalie made some dumb decisions, and she paid the ultimate price. However, it is Van der Sloat’s fault that she is dead. I wonder if he killed her with his bare hands as well.
I think natalie’s mom and dad also made a dumb decisions letting her go there at her age. They also paid the ultimate price in losing a child.
That being said, I hope that they can help find missing people. It’s hell for anyone in such a situation. Best of luck to them in this endeavor.
Does anyone know if Beth Holloway is still married to Natalee’s father? When ever I hear about the family it is usually the mom we hear from. I was wondering if their marriage had fallen apart under all the stress or maybe they were divorced before. Maybe the dad just wants to avoid the public eye. I was just wondering because they seem like a nice family
