I was at the Tucson Republican Women's Breakfast with the Candidates a few weeks ago. McCain, though invited, was not there, neither was Gov. Brewer, but their opponents were.

J.D. Hayworth was given time to speak, and sorry to tell you folks, he was not impressive or was anything he said, memorable. Except for hatred for McCain, I don't think he could pull anyone to his side for the merits of his ideas or character alone.

I am a tea party member, but our other darling candidate, Jesse Kelley was not nearly as compelling as Andy Goss, also a contender for U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords seat, who was so self-confident he said, “I am asking-—no, I am demanding your vote.”

The arrogance of these people - Grayson, Baron Hill, Kennedy, etc. - is only exceeded by their incompetence. If the people of AZ reelect this pompous a$$, we truly deserve the government we get.

I’ve heard Hayworth speak many times. He’s compelling. A much better speaker than McCain, and much more coherent.
