I think that every American who travels to the UK ought to get themselves up in front of a camera and slam the British government ... loud and often.
THEN maybe they will see just how f*&^%$g ignorant Mr. McCartney sounded.
Paul... STFU and go home!
I mean does McCartney have a Master’s degree is Business Administration?
I would say you have to have at least visited or spent some time in a library to obtain it.
Pretty funny... the President who married a librarian doesn’t know what a library is. Good one, Paul. Next time, stick with rhyming “June” with “spoon”, would ya?
You know, it's actually closer to 45 - 50 years ago at this point. McCartney's best songs were written when John Lennon (the guy who started the Beatles) was around.
Normally, for this type of event..there are people from both sides of the aisle. I wonder if any Rep. were there.
I think they should be boycotting any social event at the WH. They all turn out ugly and there is no reason to participate.
I'd be willing to bet the ranch that President Bush has read exponentially more (and higher quality) books than McCartney has. ...or than Obama has, for that matter.
Paul has always had the maturity of an adolescent boy, so these classless quips aren't at all surprising.
Did you hear his voice? The old man is way past his expiration date.
Shut up and retire is more like it.
la, la, how the lies go on....

Indeed. But to make it completely commensurate with McCartney's actions, it should be done publicly, at #10 Downing Street, and in the actual presence of the Prime Minister. See how the tolerant and sophisticated Brits like that turnabout.
What a doofus, W as been to and in a Liberian
While I do think Sir Paul deserves an earful from all Great Americans, I wish Republicans wouldn’t do this apology demanding crap. It’ a libtard game & makes our side sound as whiny as they are.
Make a public statement denouncing Paul’s asininity but knock it off with the “you better apologize” crap.
Speak out from a posture of strength.
It’s not McCartney who needs to apologize.Entertainers say rude and stupid things all the time. It is President Obama who needs to apologize. First to President Bush and his family. And then to the American people. He has created the climate where a person like McCartney felt safe to make such a comment. He made no effort to distance himself from McCartney’s insult at the time, or now.The vast majority of the audience cheered McCartney and by saying nothing Obama has lent his approval of the insult. It is Obama who needs to personally and publicly apologize to President Bush. Especially since President Bush has carried himself with a dignity, since leaving office, that, given the circumstances, few people could match.
Since Jan 20 2009.
One thing we know about W is that he is genuinely an avid reader.
Yes what Paul said was dumb, but doesn’t Boehner have anything better to do?
Hah! You’re right! I didn’t even think of that even after reading Laura Bush’s book.
” Get back... Get back... Get back to where you once belonged...Go back paul paul...”
Well, I guess I have a new use for my Beatles / Wings cd’s... Fetch doggie.. fetch.
Well, I’m afraid that Sir Paul knew exactly what Obama wanted to hear. I’ll bet that Obama got a good chuckle out of it.
I notice that there was no mention of “Back in the USSR,” or “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” Either McCartney didn’t sing them, or the MSM failed to mention it.
Well said!
