Asking the right questions about eligibility
World Net Daily ^ | June 4, 2010 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 06/04/2010 12:08:59 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

When the New York Times finally conducted its first poll on eligibility questions haunting Barack Obama, it asked them in ways specifically designed to make it appear the general public thought the whole matter was settled – as its own newsroom culture does.

"Do you think President Obama was born in the U.S. or another country?" the CBS/New York Times poll asked sophomorically in April.

Still, even with such a skewed question, the Big Media must have been shocked at the results: Only 58 percent of Americans think he was born in the United States.

It was clear to me then that Barack Obama is losing ground with the American people each and every time he obfuscates on this issue, stonewalls on the releases of personal documentation, ridicules those who question him and counts on the media to ostracize all skeptics, otherwise caricatured as "birthers."

So I set out to do another poll phrasing questions the way adult journalists would – journalists who are not predisposed to believe anything and everything the president says.

The results of that scientific survey were released Tuesday.(continued)

If BHO, Sr. is indeed his father, as claimed, he ain't eligible.

One thing on the birth issue I don’t understand. If Obama’s father was a British citizen, then doesn’t that alone invalidate Obama on the natural born citizen bit and where he was born becomes immaterial? And if so, why is’t that the direction people who are questioning Obama push along?

“Only 58 percent of Americans think he was born in the United States. It was clear to me...”

Keep it in mind folks that 50% of the people are below average intelligence. That’s an IQ of about 100. It’s probably a bad idea to give the bottom half much responsibility (like voting).

I do not think he is eligible..There is way too much secrecy to believe that he is..However, would it matter to those in authority if it was proven, without a doubt that he is not eligible and, even if, 90% of Americans polled wanted him removed for that fact, would it matter? It is becoming more and more evident that we have elected revolutionaries to govern us. I am very fearful of what is planned for America..I was just watching news of the indoctrination of school children, a captive audience, in Los Angeles, toward hatred of America and Americans, though polls show that we want control of illegals in our nation and over the masses crossing our borders. Watch for one thing..Gun control..When you see that come from this administration through a back door, not through Congress, get ready for the unthinkable. It is on our doorstep.

I'd settle just to know his IQ.

What is BO's IQ?????

What grades did he get in college?

Aren't they proud of him?

They have pretended they know the president is eligible when they don't.

When was the last time you were in a bank, and saw behind the counter to the open vault area accessed by the tellers? In that area are posted large images of genuine U.S. currency, along with a list of details for the employees to check to ensure that any currency being passed to the bank is the real thing.

How many people these days (voters) can tell when a presidential candidate is "the real thing" -- that is, Constitutionally eligible for the office?

When I was in school, I was taught that only a natural born citizen could be President, and a natural born citizen was born of two American citizen parents on American soil.

Since BO was elected, it is apparent that voters either (a) were never taught this or (b) forgot it or (c) rationalized that since the media and political parties were pushing for this guy, that he MUST have been eligible, right?

It DOES NOT help when people from other parties--not just the Dems--talk of their White House aspirations when they are clearly ineligible or are of uncertain eligibility status. Naturalized citizens Schwarzenegger and Granholm. Born-abroad citizens Weicker and McCain. Fourteenth Amendment citizen Jindal. You get the picture.

All of the other candidates who are clearly ineligible or are of dubious eligibility made it possible for the majority of voters to pull the lever for BO.

We need to educate people and reestablish in the mind of the voting public that there is a "bright line" of eligibility for office, and uniquely so for the office of the President.

As a result I got this e-mail:

please read!!!

I contacted my Congressman about House bill HR 3590, the health care bill. I asked for a summary of changes.

The Aid directed me to go to www: thomas.gov<http://thomas.gov/%3E; ; enter HR 3590 in the search box and look for summaries.

Starting in 2011 (next year folks) your W-2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of whatever health insurance you are given by the company. It does not matter if that’s a private concern or Governmental body of some sort.

If you’re retired? So what; your gross WILL go up by the amount of insurance you get.

You will be required to pay taxes on a large sum of money that you have never seen.

Take your tax form you just finished and see what $15,000 or $20,000 additional gross does to your tax debt. That’s what you’ll pay next year.

For many it also puts you into a new higher bracket so it’s even worse.

This is how the government is going to buy insurance for 15 % that don’t have insurance and it’s only part of the tax increases.

Not believing this I researched the summaries and here’s what I’m reading:
On page 25 of 29:
TITLE IX REVENUE PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A: REVENUE OFFSET
PROVISIONS - (sec. 9001, as modified by sec. 10901) Sec.9002. “requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employee’s gross income.”

Joan Pryde is the senior tax editor for the Kiplinger letters. Go to Kiplinger’s and read about 13 tax changes that could affect you. Number 3 is what I just told you about.

Why am I sending you this? The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book. People have the right to know the truth because an election is coming in November and we need to vote in Conservatives that will repeal this horrid law! JK

Fixed it for you. Clueless people have no business being within 1 mile of a voting booth.

I’ve posted this before but haven’t got a good answer;

I think the military, the “power elite”, and many of the media KNOW he is ineligible. But to call his qualifications into question now would throw the country into anarchy. I think that their thinking is; “better to keep the dope we know than to have to deal with the consequences”. If it was PUBLICLY asserted that he is ineligible and he didn’t immediately prove he is a natural born citizen, if he still kept up the lie and refused to step down this country would be thrown into chaos. Our military would not have a clear leader. Our enemies would be emboldened to strike.
Our military is not stupid, I also entertain the possibility of a military takeover if they fear he has gone too far in endangering this country.

God help us!

Keep it in mind folks that 50% of the people are below average intelligence.

Lord, please save us from 'smart' people.

I would much rather have an informed voter with an IQ of 80 than an uninformed high IQ voter who thinks they already know everything and know what is best for us.

I would much rather have an 'average' American high school graduate with life experience in elected office than one more ivy leaguer who's been indoctrinated into the progressive ideology.

IQ is highly over rated. I prefer common sense and life experience.

Yep. For every Bill Gates, it seems there are 5 Robert Reichs.
