IF IT CAN’T BE ME, I am glad he found a woman that stimulates his soul. We have to trust that he is smart enough to make a good choice this time.

I prefer this ... the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

That’s the great thing about being an anonymous commentator ... I don’t have to trust anything about this at all. I can make the assumption he reeeeallly likes pretty young things on his arm, and she really likes the fame and fortune attendant from being Rush’s woman.

I recently had this talk with my daughter, women do not stimulate men's souls, we operate on far lower, baser instincts. Women give us way to much credit or as I warned my daughter it is wishful thinking. After a few years we become comfortable and domesticated.

Isn’t it interesting how so many place ALL the blame for the failure of Rush’s marriages on him alone, without having any personal knowledge of those relationships?

Hopefully, all be well with Rush. I pray so. Best wishes to them for a long, healthy, happy marriage filled with a growing and deepening love for each other, and continued good fortune.

I have no doubt that all his priors have been good choices. Rush has a very big ego, is very opinionated and is in constant demand. It would be very hard to find a woman that could successfully deal with all that over the long term.

It's not a slam on Rush, who I dearly love but rather an objective opinion.

Rush could very well go thru girlfriend after girlfriend after girlfriend without any problems, but he doesn't. I think he would much rather have a wife than a long term girlfriend, no matter how long or short that marriage lasts.........
