We don’t know what she was doing in Jerusalem. She could have been an activist fomenting trouble, or she could have been a tourist, or on a break from volunteering at a kibbutz.

You might be right but this was the caption under the video.

I rather assume she’s an activist, but usually first reports about any ‘incidents’ are, at best, unreliable.. especially with AP. If she IS an activist we will learn more as they develop the sympathy angle. The parents will come forward with outrage against the Israelis, etc. If perchance she was not an activist, we will hear no more.
