Honolulu peace activist Ann Wright was one of about 700 people taken into custody by Israeli defense forces after a raid on a flotilla of boats carrying aid to Gaza that left nine people dead, friends of Wright's confirmed.
Kyle Kajihiro of the American Friends Service Committee, and Arnie Kotler, publisher of a book on Gaza by Wright, said they recognized her in a video of the detainees being led into detention in Ashdod. The video was posted on YouTube and several Israeli newspaper sites.

That’s OBAPOE!!!
Because these thugs know that the worst that will happen will be a slap on the wrist and a free ride home, they will do it again.
Awww shucks, I guess if this woman had been minding her own business instead of on a boat with a bunch of Islamofascist Muslim Brotherhood terrorist agitators attacking the IDF in the Israeli port of Gaza, then she wouldn’t be in a detention center, now would she. If she had truly been interested in getting aid into Gaza, she would’v...e made sure her ship was boarded and inspected and cleared to offload their goods so they could be taken into Gaza as soon as possible. But it looks like she was more interested in the fact that she knew Israel would board the ship for inspection and that her shipmates intended to attack and kill them and manufacturing an international crisis very conveniently for Ayatollah Obama and his Muslim Brotherhood against the Israeli’s.
As far as I’m concerned the IDF can hold them for about 12 years out in the desert watering plants with a #303 tin can to tote the water.
There are sharks in the area that need to eat, no?
Ann Wright Biography
Army Colonel, Foreign Diplomat, Anti-war Activist, Peace Advocat, 1946 -
"I have served my country for almost thirty years in some of the most isolated and dangerous parts of the world. I want to continue to serve America. However, I do not believe in the policies of this Administration and cannot --- morally and professionally --- defend or implement them. It is with heavy heart that I must end my service to America and therefore resign."

Talk out she has. Since resigning, patriotism for Ann Wright has been as an anti-war activist. She worked with Cindy Sheehan organizing Camp Casey, and appeared in the documentary Uncovered: The Truth About the Iraq War. She travels and lectures on foreign policy issues. She has been arrested five times in the past year for protesting Bushs policies, and has referred to herself cheerfully as a felon for peace. This retired Army Colonel has also recently been temporarily banned not only from two military bases for placing postcards there about a showing of the documentary Sir, No Sir, but from the US Capitol area (her case is still pending), and the National Press Club (this a lifetime ban), for voicing opinions and questions concerning Bushs policies and the Iraq war.
OBAPOE alert!
Why are these types of people so dammed ugly? Ever notice that? Are they activists and liberals because of their ugliness or is because they never had any fun with boys in high school?
Unfortunately, Israel may be PO’ed enough at Zer0 to send her back.
These cowards probably fall into two categories:
1. Professional activities (like this woman)
2. Protest “tourists”. That is, Yuppie scum looking for adventure.
I call them cowards, because these outings are typically risk free. That is, they protest, get detailed, and are released—and its just one big thrill. Every now and then something unexpected happens: as in the case of Rachael Corrie or the Flotilla. I shed no tears for these people.
OMG! She looks like Harry Reid’s sister
You are right, she does look like Harry Reid’s sister.
Probably has the same IQ.
I had not noticed until your comment, but you are right. Yuck!
I believe she played shortstop on the Women’s softball team, if you get my drift.
Not a good way to go through life.
Ah, yes; the American Friends Service Committee. We picked up hundreds of vials of antibiotics they had provided as "humanitarian relief" to North Vietnam in an NVA underground hospital we captured in I Corps, South Vietnam. Not surprised to see they are still supporting freedom's enemies 40 years later.
I wish I knew someone on the IDF boarding team and could have called in ‘a favor’
