Religious Jewish Candidate Revolutionizing Republican Message in South Florida
Red Hampshire ^ | 06/01/10 | Sheridan Folger

LTC Allen West isn’t the only conservative candidate or race to watch in Florida. While West, whom I’ve supported for several years may indeed convey conservatism in a more effective, honest and articulate way then most . . . there is another conservative in Florida that we should all be proud to support.

Very few conservatives are able to rally a crowd. Our party has intellectuals like Bobby Jindal and a plethora of other talent, but few candidates are able to provide a mix of common sense conservatism and an ability to convey that message in equal measures of force and effectiveness. Enter Yomin Postelnik, recently touted by congressional candidate Commander Tom Garcia as “a candidate with needed solutions on all matters of importance,” Postelnik is a state level candidate who mixes dynamic campaigning skills with a solid conservative message. Unlike so many in politics, Postelnik knows what he’s talking about and knows it well.

Long before becoming a candidate, Postelnik’s columns on conservative philosophy stood out as articulate defenses of conservative values and Republican policy. His writings have been featured in the American Thinker and in numerous other publications. His defenses of conservative policy and philosophy are indepth and get to the core of the issue.

I don’t think many Jews would ever vote for a Republican. It really doesn’t matter if Obama gave the go-ahead to Iran in a one-on-one phone call, and then handed tapes of it over to CNN. They’ll still vote liberal, and they’ll vote for Obama in 2012.

First time I've seen Bobby Jindal referred to as an Intellectual.

A good solid conservative, yes, but an Intellectual?

One thing I see to overcome is the fear that a candidate will solve urban problems at the expense of Mayberry’s principles.

Contrary to my prediction that Obama will not be a candidate in 2012.

States are passing laws that presidential candidates much show proof of natural born citizenship.

Have you ever read his bio? What he lacks in charisma and public speaking ability, he makes up for in intellect. He has two undergraduate degrees from Brown, both attained before he was 21. He was a Rhodes Scholar, and unlike Bill Clinton, he graduated from Oxford.

My mistake then.

Thanks for correcting me.

Well, I hear you. It’s a prediction with some plausibility, and I certainly hope it comes true.

4 years later and he was a SPEAKUH! (seriously, Jindal just needs some practice / classes... (Palin could use a little too, imho, plus a permanent sound tech who ACUTELY understands timbre...))

In pure, raw speaking ability, Palin is head and shoulders above Jindal.

Does she need work, sure, every politician needs that kind of help unless you are trained to speak like an actor such as Ronald Reagan.

But Palin speaks with a forcefullness and passion that Jindal doesn't quite have yet.

Will he get there, sure he will, it will take time.

I don't think many Jews in South Florida are observant, except perhaps to Socialism.

you obviously aren’t familiar with Orthodox Jews who are the fastest growing segment of the Jewish population. don’t be surprised if over 50% of American Jews are orthodox by 2020 when the FDR generation is gone and the rest of the “secular” Jewish establishment has aborted or assimilated itself out of existence.

That speech was made at the end of one of the minor Jewish fast days. I told him, “not bad for 19 hours of not eating.” You should see him on a good day.
