US Trying to Deport 'Son of Hamas' Who Exposed Terrorism

The “Son of Hamas," whose recent book reveals his path to Christianity and exposes Hamas terrorism and his role as a secret agent for Israel, says that U.S. Homeland Security wants to deport him on charges that he is a terrorist.

Writing on his publisher’s blog, Mosab Hassan Yousef expressed his “outrage” and described what he called a "security system that is so primitive and naive that it endangers the lives of countless Americans." Yousef wrote that he faces a deportation hearing on June 30 at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration Court in San Diego.

He questioned why he is being deported. “For what?

I rarely post articles other than my own. This is an exception as this brave man does not deserve to be deported. Did a search and only article found was WND, so I thought I'd give this news some validation. Not sure if excerpt was necessary, but Arutz Sheva can use the hits. Thanx all.

Deportation for this man will mean a death sentence. I have heard him speak on several radio shows. He is always honest and blunt and, interestingly, will say that Muslim people are good, it’s the religion that’s a problem. Talk about laser focus. I cannot believe that the U.S. would deport him, but I don’t know how he came here or any details. I am very sad to hear this news.

His case sounds like a legitimate use of the asylum process. I’ve seen him in interviews & he seems sincere enough. If he were a fraud, I suspect the Israelis would have figured it out.

He needs a good immigration lawyer. If BO’s aunt qualifies for aslyum, this guy certainly does.

There are several former terrorists who have become Christians, and who testify to their faith in the Lord -- Jesus, the Messiah of Israel -- when formerly, they hated all Jews and conducted terrorisms against them -- they now are in the Lord's kingdom and now speak on behalf of the Jews and are not their enemies any longer.

They are very authoritative voices against the false and evil idealogy of Islam, one that is very difficult for those Muslim clerics to silence their message against Islam.

One that I know of, was jailed in Israel for a while, then came to America to work for Islam in America and then became a Christian. His name is Walid Shoebat, and he is under thread every day from Islamic terrorists who want to silence his voice (against Islam and for Jesus, the Messiah of Israel).

Now, it would seem that you would want to help the real Islamic terrorists remove the voices that have great influence over the Muslims still trapped in that false and evil idealogy and silence those voices of those former terrorists working against Islam.

I'm not sure why you want to help Islamic terrorists, instead of having more and more voices speak out against Islamic terrorism, from voices of those who "really know" and who "have been there" and carry weight and authority to the people who are still behind the Islamic curtain ....

I support helping this courageous man who risked everything, including his father’s love. Considering his father was one of the founders of the militant wing of Hamas, as opposed to what is beyond me, certainly not the peace-loving wing. With that in mind, it is difficult to imagine how he managed to wrest himself not only free of his Hamas upbringing, but even to spending a number of years posing inside Hamas in order to spy for Israel. Should Obama et al successfully deport this man, especially if it to Gaza, he will be dead immediately. Probably by his own father’s hand, a horrible and disgusting thought, but still very likely. Mosab Hassan Yousef deserves asylum and our protection, not this travesty being attempted.

I'm going to try to reach his publisher or Mr. Yousef himself to see if Freepers can help mount an email campaign (or something else) to build support for his effort or to spread the word about the Obama administration's attack on him re: deportation.

I will also see if Mr. Yousef or his publisher will come on FR to tell his story and to keep conservatives posted re: his situation.

Mosab Hassan Yousef was brought on as a surprise speaker at our church, Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, during the Preach the Word 2010 Prophecy Conference. Lt. Gen. William G. "Jerry" Boykin (RET.) also was there. I applaud our senior pastor for having Mosab attend the event.

I am sure DHS has their legal and security reasons for wanting to deport Mosab. He is ultimately in the Lord's capable hands.

That being said, if DHS attempts to deport him, it will not be done in a corner.

Yes, there are more than one fundamentalist Muslims who would have liked to take a shot at one of them.

Fortunately for us our congregation is comprised of active-duty/retired Police, Fire, EMS, private security and investigations, and retired and active duty military personnel from all branches of the military.

Although we are ultimately charged to not trust in the weak "arm of man" and completely in God, nonetheless there is a deterrent effect on disruptions having all these knuckle-draggers and gun-slingers around.
