LOL.

"...the workers who showed up were given t-shirts and began cleaning oil as the president flew over.

Given t-shirts. Why not come prepared to work?

"BP’s Doug Suttles, in a late afternoon press briefing, said the influx of workers is part of the plan and that the very hot conditions cause them to leave after short stints of work.

I'm wondering if ALL of BP's "workers" who toil in the heat are given the same consideration.

Heck, I live about 45 miles from where they were, worked in my yard all day (weed eating, cutting grass and cleaning out drainage ditches, very big yard). It wasn't that hot and I didn't even have a gulf breeze to cool me off (and I'm 63 years old).
As my old daddy would say "Doug Suttles is about as full of crap as a Christmas turkey".
