Not a chance in hell that is a legit “quote”.
I appreciate the attempt to be fair, but this picture shows nothing...the flag is likely on the left side of the room, out of the camera angle. Also, Obama isn’t on the same planet as Reagan when it comes to patriotism...or anything else for that matter.
Checked it out at Snopes.com ... this is an e-mail circulating in 2008 ... no truth to it. Apparently it originated as a satire piece in a publication and evolved from that point.

Every other President (even Clintoon) had blue curtains and flags. This guy is going for the bling. Columns and chandeliers at a press conference? Glowing golden silk?
If they had thrown in red, it would be a lovely bordello. But we can’t have red; it’s too patriotic!
The only thing he hasn’t been able to change is the seal, although I’m sure he is dying to. And teleprompters at a press conference? Bwahahahahahahaha!
That looks like the WH Press Briefing room. I don’t recall ever seeing a flag there, but I could be wrong.

This was written — as SATIRE — by a Newspaper columnist...and was then circulated by email as a quote of an OBAMA speech..."I'd like to teach the world to sing" as the National Anthem?? Oh please, there is SO much evidence that shows Obama is an America Hater without resorting to things that don't pass the smell test.

He’s so worried about his message to the world when he should be worried about his message to us. He is our president...not president of the world like he wishes he was.
Slightly OT, but the Reagan pic made me think of it. Last year I bought a CD of Reagan’s speaches (Ebay for about $10 IIRC). Although a few of the recordings are a tad muffled, most are very good. With about 70 or so speaches, press conferences, etc...it includes pretty much all his famous lines “Tear down this wall!”, etc. Highly recommend it to all who miss having a REAL American in the WH.

My thoughts exactly. Part of me thinks, “This grand experiment called ‘America’ was great while it lasted.” The other part of me thinks, “But the American spirit still lives and will overcome this.” The American flag is an affront to B.O. It’s like waving garlic in front of a vampire.
