US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.

So I guess if they see some unarmed undocumented Democrats crossing the border they won’t stop them because that would be racial profiling?

I heard on FNC that this ‘troops to the border’ spin is part of a cover for a justice department federal lawsuit against Arizona. I have no way of knowing if this is, or is not, just more White House spin to work up hispanics.
On MSNBC I heard something that confirmed my theory(I have posted a few times) . All this anti-Arizona pro-immigration reform spin is about democrats strategy for 2012, not 2010. They believe that hispanics will come out in numbers to vote in 2012 and that Republicans cannot win the white house without them. In the case of 2010, democrats will suffer for this strategy(which we know is true). Yesterday Ed Schulz (MSNBC) had a democrat leaning analysis on that stated this.
Personally I think that if Republicans can make Obama own the deficit and economy in 2012, as he does now, he will have trouble getting Hispanics to vote for him in large numbers.

Of course not. Our country does not have the guts to deal with illegal immigration as it should.
They’ll probably send them down there with water, MREs and care packages for comfort on their trip in.
I agree with your assessment completely.
Soon as I hear of a concerted effort to fund raise to build the wall privately, I’m in.

My guess is that hispanics(legal) will vote for the republican at least 50%. Hispanics have wallets too!

I am becoming convinced that the troops are being sent to interfere with Arizona’s enforcement of the new law.

Repelling invasion by a foreign military is authorized by the Constitution. But performing law enforcement duties at the state or local level is not. Not unless Congress specifically authorizes it.
You may not remember the military attack on Pastor Koresh and his congregation in Waco. You can google it. Nobody was prosecuted for that.
I remember it. That was a BATF operation.

My dad had a saying “Don't Pee (he used another word)and tell me it's raining”.. and this is exactly whats happening.
Last night on FNN it was stated that there are areas which the Border Patrol are prohibited to patrol. These areas contain the corridors which the human smugglers and the drugs dealers use

Whoops I hit the Post Button by accident..
As I was saying ...My dad had a saying Don't Pee (he used another word)on my leg and tell me it's raining.. and this is exactly whats happening.
Last night on FNN it was stated that there are areas which the Border Patrol are prohibited to patrol. These areas contain the corridors which the human smugglers and the drugs dealers use. These areas even have barriers that prevent the BP from using trucks.. all mandated by the EPA. They consider theses areas a environmental preserves to protect rabbits, and tortoises. I am starting to believe that there is collusion between some entities in our government and the drug/human smugglers. The old adageapplies,,," Follow the Money".. maybe we're looking in the wrong place ..../rant

Ann Richards provided National Guard troops and equipment to the FBI who took charge after the BATF screwed up. Those were citizens whose only crime was MAYBE they didn’t pay the tax on a couple of their guns.
On our southern border we have a hostile military that repeatedly comes into our country and assaults our citizens.
We also have terrorists crossing that border. We supposedly have a war on terror.
What we do not have, and haven’t had, is a president who will defend our nation from foreign invaders. We also have a pro-criminal axis who side with the criminals and the invaders.

IF they were really putting Troops on the border, it would stop the flow of drugs and illegal invaders from coming in.
COME TO THE USA (Ray Stevens) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgOHOHKBEqE
It also STOPS the flow of guns and cash from going to Mexico. And drops the drug use by the drug addicts here in the USA. And we will also see a drop in crime. DUH!

The rabbits must be choking to death on all the garbage & plastic waste there.

Our troops should guard the border and be cautioned not to shoot southbound Mexicans.

What ever happened to the Minutemen organization? Did internal power struggles, fraud allegations and ego trips cause its division and ultimate demise?
