Very confused. He can be protected anywhere else he goes, but he can’t be protected among the dead? Or is he afraid that those actually honoring the fallen would somehow pose a threat due to his anti-Americanism?
Not all Presidents have visited Arlington on Memorial Day. I recall visits before the "official day" at the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial, at the Korean War Memorial, at Lincoln Memorial, at Jefferson Memorial, at........ "other places" ~ e.g. that huge WW memorial in Kansas City!
