Thank you very much for finding and posting this EXCELLENT link. I work in medicine, and while I don’t work in direct patient care any more, I have my thumb on the pulse, and this guy tells it like it is.
I implore everyone on this thread, watch the video, even if it is long and delivered in a bit of a monotone. It is worth it. You can’t do any better than this video if you want to understand a physician’s viewpoint.
If you want another perspective to help you in making broadly informed decision on socialized heath care, this video is a must watch.

It amazes me that the liberal yoga/tofu (dare I say superior) crowd doesn’t get it. All that effort, all that pretense (and trust they know it’s pretense). All that...and someday the critical decision will be left to an actuarial table and the same table that applies to the cheese burger munching slob. It makes the pretense ever more foolish. Keep calling DC and expressing your anger. Tell them that you demand this be repealed. When they give you the standard BS, “___ voted no.” That isn’t good enough in my opinion. I ask why aren’t they screaming about repeal 24/7 and exposing those that shoved this down our throats”?
Well, yes, provided that the Death Panel can understand English. And if you have an (R) next to your name in the data base, forget about it.
