GOP U.S. Senate candidate and former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said Wednesday that the latest Public Policy Institute of California poll shows that she is gaining advantage over former South Bay Rep. Tom Campbell. And coming on the heels of this week's election results, she said, it means that incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer should "be afraid, be very afraid."

The latest poll shows Boxer leading all GOP comers, and gaining significantly with independents -- details below.

Boxer leads Campbell by 6%

Boxer leads Fiorina by 9%

Fiorina gains 1% from her previous lead over Campbell but still falls short of how Campbell does against Boxer.

And Devore gains 8% in the primary to go double digits (16%) and Boxer leads Devore by 11%.

Fiorina will get her butt whipped if she wins.

She is definately the worst of the three.

Of the three, the trends are in Devore’s favor.

The other two are moving in the wrong direction.

Meaning as Boxer’s own numbers among Indies (she now leads) have improved against Campbell and Fiorina, but Boxer remains stagnant against Devore (and given Devore is in third and is now moving up), Indies will start to look at him.

The fact that the top two are losing Indies suggests they don’t like what they saw.

With Devore, they are waiting to see if he starts to move up in the polls. He has been in the back for sometime.

Devore is going no where in the primary and will definetly wont win the nomination.

You can take it to the bank.

I would say that an 8% gain in the polls is going somewhere.

And he may not win as you say, but I wouldn’t put my money in your bank.

I wish with all my heart that DeVore was running in another state. I think he’s a superb Conservative candidate. But this is Jerkballifornia and the likelihood of stupidity prevailing is very high. By the time election time rolls around, Cali is going to be in such a world of economic hurt that whomever can promise the most goodies to illegals and welfare cases will almost certainly prevail.

The trends may be in his favor, but time isn't. He has a LOT of ground to make up in less than three weeks. Actually, absentee balloting is well under way.

another 8 % out of that undecided can come real fast. It may have already.

Who has the trend going into the final days wins. I would place a bet on Devore, the long shot.
