LOL! Long before there was a Barack Obama, ZP was referred to as “Bambi” because of his stupid facial expressions and his “can’t we all just get along” and “nobody hates the West, it’s a figment of our right-wing imaginations” speeches.
I always refer to Obama as Bambi, not because I think he’s a stupid, naive socialist like Zapatero, but to insult him, because Obama is a different beast altogether: he’s not innocnnt, he’s not naive, he’s stupid but he knows perfectly well what he wants (like any primitive animal), and if we shrug him off by saying he’s stupid and inarticulate, all we are doing is opening the gate for him.
Obama wants to bring us down. I’m not sure Zapatero, as much as I despise him, had this in mind. Zapatero is genuinely stupid and nobody thought he had a chance of winning until 3/11. But Obama knows exactly what he wants to do, and even if he’s stupid, he’s ruthles and aggressive and he’ll do it unless we stand up to him. Which ain’t gonna happen.
