Party leaders will most likely appoint a successor to run, probably the opposing candidate, unless the candidate was too badly damaged in the primary.

Why can’t these guys keep it in their pants? You want to find someone else, get a divorce and move on.

Here are the primary results: I don’t know how they’ll handle this but Bob Thomas, the second place finisher, is probably furious over this.
