A new Washington Post/ABC poll has asked whether Americans believe President Obama was born in the United States arguably one component of the Constitution's demand that presidents be "natural born" citizens and it has revealed that even one in seven Democrats says he was born "in another country."
Producers of the poll, which done by the mainstream media is a reflection itself of how much concern over Obama's eligibility has grown, described the assessment and its finding that 20 percent of all respondents said he was born abroad to 77 percent with faith that he was born in the United States as taking "another bite at the birther apple."
But when David Weigel blogged about it at the newspaper, citing 31 percent of Republicans who doubt Obama's citizenship and explaining "birtherism has remained a stubborn belief in the conservative base, despite widespread denunciation from elite conservatives," one forum page participant tried to put it in perspective.
"So, this poll shows 31 percent and the Gallup poll
on the last 'fringe' threat showed up to 46 percent. Either way, that's TENS OF MILLIONS of Americans," wrote "JakeD2." Actually, 31 percent of the U.S. population would range about 100 million.

Only to the extent they can somehow paint the Conservatives crazy with it in the fall elections...
A Pulitzer Prize is up for grabs. The first reporter to finish the story will win it.
Anyone else see that thing on CNN just now? I’ve never seen Anderson Cooper so defensive and over the top. Unbelievably rude to his guests (Army guy and his lawyer).
Kinda funny how Cooper kept saying “He already released it! “He already released it!” only to follow with “The Republican governor sent someone to look at it!”
Ummmm... look at what? I thought you just said he released it? LOL
Cooper unintentionally made this story more curious to a wider audience thru his rudeness.
Regardless of his place of birth, the fact that he has hedl citizenship other than the US and has one parent who is not a US citizen disqualifies him from the office.
Did Lakin bring up about BO’s father not being a US citizen?
All they have to do is ask Bush and Cheney but NONE of the MSM dares to ask the question publicly.
Where are TODAY'S Woodward and Bernstein?
Making up news about the tea party movement and any and all conservatives.
I don’t watch Cooper at all or CNN that much anymore.
People forget that allegiance is just as important.
Scroll, see what’s wrong with the picture (just per recent events):

They would not have touched the eligibility subject anyway — they’re liberals. They would have preferred to live a lie like all liberals do.
Mainstream media: Tens of millions of Kenyans doubt Obummer eligibility
{38,765,312 - That`s the whole country!]
He will limp even more into his Presidency, and this will eventually ruin him from ever getting his picture on the $1,000 dollar bill that he is promoting.
Cooper was filibustering so I’m not sure he had the chance. Lawyer did get in the point that this could all be over tonight if he just released it.
They are all smarter and more honest than our congresscritters.
NO! Cooper was a total a$$. Lakin's lawyer tried to answer questions that were being posed but was berated the whole interview. Cooper provided lie after lie throughout the whole interview.
