If you think she is going to run in 2012, you’d be wrong, her heart just ain’t in it.

Gateway Pundit had a different take on it. They said "Sarah Palin lit up the Independence Events Center tonight." There's a video of the last 2 1/2 minutes of her speech at their website. Hard to hear her speak over the applause and cheering, but they did the best they could. Check it out.

In the last 60 days Sarah Palin has given 23 speeches in 12 different states, including 2 speeches in Canada.

She has made 5 TV guest appearances and has had her own 1-hr. special on Fox. She has helped raise hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars for charities and politicians, including $500,000 for Michele Bachman alone.

Yeah, her heart's not in it. Get with the program, Sarah!...LOL.

Ronald Reagan had the benefit of not having the internet spotlight shed on his every utterance, yet during his 1980 primary run he had a person on his team whose sole job was to rearrange words and phrases in his campaign speeches to keep it as fresh as they could. Sarah, however, is not running for anything and is simply trying to motivate and inspire people to get involved and fight back against the commies taking over our country.

She's doing just fine.

First I’m not throwing Sarah under the bus, I’m reporting what I saw. Re-watch that video, in most of it the crowd is very quite. If they had posted the entire speech you might have a more honest view of the event. What gateway pundit calls “Hard to hear her speak over the applause and cheering, but they did the best they could” - I would say is because Sarah’s delivery was linear and didn’t anticipate, pause or play off the crowd.

Don’t get me wrong - I voted in 2008 for Sarah and that old liberal guy. I read her book cover to cover. I’ve also attended her speeches in person before, so I know what she is like at her best. I want her to run in 2012 and clean Obama’s clock. Unlike Obama or Clinton she would make a better president than a candidate.

However if she is so exhausted from all these speeches that she comes across to her own supporters as tired or not passionate enough then she is hurting her own brand long term.

Her theme of “I Love America” is great for a campaign but she needs to get much more focused and dare I say become more of a policy wonk. Repeating back to us what we already know and feel, using the same words & phrases we would use isn’t what Reagan did to lead us out of the wilderness. We need another Reagan in 2012. And if she is going to be that person she has to begin doing a lot of things differently starting Now.

For example - she could have dropped all the one liners and Rah Rah go USA stuff and talked about her experience with deceitful oil companies who were sitting on their Alaskan leases and how she delt with them. Then tied it back to the Gulf Oil spill going on. She could also have blasted the enviro wacko’s as hypocrites for giving Obama a pass.

BTW, JC Watts supported Obama? you really believe that? Show me your reference - or are you just making it up? Last I heard he didn’t support McCain but then again neither did any of us. We supported Sarah and held our nose over the mess the Republicans had made. ‘My Friends’, McCain was an awful candidate and earned our pity more than our vote.
