I understand. The fear mongering might work in namby-pamby gun-free cities like LA or NY, but it won't work here in the heartland of the south. If they rise up in, say, Spring City, Tennessee, they will be crushed and not by some government action but rather by a bunch of angry citizens.
It’s hard to believe, I know, but I’m in a county in California that is more than ‘prepared’. We never have been able to depend on the state for anything, we’re used to it and we vote conservative.

So the theory behind McCain’s previous position on illegals was we need to legalize them because if we don’t they will riot? Just the type of people we want as citizens- those that become citizens because we fear their actions if we don’t give them what they want.
