This guy IS the Manchurian Candidate. The PC movement was another commie idea to help them get a guy like this elected and it worked. Create white guilt, if you dont vote for the black guy your a racist. ALOT of white people voted that way.
This equation has another side that, unfortunately, most people overlook at this point. The Republican candidate was truly horrendous. Although I voted for McCain, I did not see him as presidential material (foremost in my mind was the tantrum he threw when he lost to Bush in 2000 and did his best to undermine President Bush). I'm sure that many people who felt the way I did just sat out the election. My son didn't bother to vote that time.
I think Obama is there now more because of a "perfect storm" than because of any strong support of the candidate.
