Texas Gov. Rick Perry says Republican congressional candidates must say "no" - no to President Barack Obama, and no to anything that makes Washington relevant to the American people.

Perry did not tip his hand about 2012, but had this to say Friday about November's congressional elections: "It's going to take men and women going to Washington, D.C., and saying no."

I agree -- we need Republicans with courage to say NO to Obama turning the US into a socialist dictatorship and do everything in their power to prevent it.

Didn’t this country get founded by men who said “No”?

He (Rick Perry) said GOP candidates should tell voters, "Elect me and I'm going to Washington, D.C, and will try to make it as inconsequential on your life as I can make it."

Outstanding.

That’s what I told Ike Skelton’s office and I hope others from Missouri will do the same.
NO more emails, congressional news letters, phone calls inviting me to be a part of some phony forum.
Just get out !

FYI — new FoxNews poll:

http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/040910_economy_web.pdf

Obama’s job approval on issues:

Economy: 42% approve, 53% disapprove
Job creation: 40% approve, 54% disapprove
Healthcare: 40% approve, 54% disapprove
Federal deficit: 31% approve, 62% disapprove

And these are the issues voters care about the most — doesn’t look good for Dems in November, Republicans just have to keep hammering on the truth and not let the Dems get away with lies.

AND note that the FoxNews poll oversampled Democrats and undersampled Independents — just imagine how these numbers would look with the correct sampling.

In the polls: 40% Dems, 36% Rep; 18% Indep.

As I remember the current electorate is roughtly a third of each more or less.

Perrt, Palin and Jindal have no problem with the GOP being the “party of no.” Newt seems to have a problem with it.

Perry is a late-comer, born-again, all-of-a-sudden exponent of small government. Could it be he is running for something?

Newt is part of the problem. He is for smaller government as a slogan, not as a course of action.

Perry isn’t that type of Republican. He’s more of a Romney or Huckabee.

Newt needs to just stay behind the scenes, use his political genius on winning elections and after that, just shut up.
