Florida poll shows Dem health woes (25% of seniors support ObamaCare)
The Politico ^ | 3-29-2010 | Alexander Burns

A Mason-Dixon poll of Florida voters released over the weekend offers the dose of cold water Democrats may need to temper their expectations on health care's electoral impact. The Miami Herald reports that in a state home to several Democrats who took risky votes on health care — Reps. Allen Boyd, Suzanne Kosmas and Alan Grayson —

"Only 34 percent of Florida voters support the new law while 54 percent are against it, according to the poll. Opposition is significantly strong among two crucial blocs: those older than 65 and voters with no party affiliation. Seniors disfavor the bill by a 65-25 percent margin, while independents oppose the law 62-34. The poll, conducted last week, is the first to be taken in Florida since Obama signed the healthcare reform bill into law. It shows that Floridians have a more negative than positive view of Obama by a margin of 15 percentage points. And they oppose his so-called 'cap-and-trade' global warming legislation as well as the new health care law."

Democrat Alex Sink is imploding against Bill McCollum. Hard core NY retirees who are core Dem and Obama voters are furious. They have by far the BEST healthcare now but that will end. They will get thrown into a Medicaid pool with the poor. Just watch. These people are Democrats from borth to death and they are furious. Their kids also vote Dem. The talk around the condos and to the kids about Obama and the Dems will be screaming.

"Only 25 percent of those polled who were 65 and older said they support the bill that was signed into law. Nearly two-thirds, 65 percent, said they oppose it."

"I'm a Democrat, but I'm going to vote Republican," said Arnold Ruskin, 74, of Margate, who was not polled but reflected the changing attitude of many senior citizens. "I want this [health care law] repealed. I'm not saying the Republicans are right. But I think the Democrats are just brutal on this thing. They do care about people who don't have insurance. But not a word about seniors."

People in Florida are pissed.

Good grief...who can the 25% of seniors that support Obamacare be?

They’re already admitting the whole “Death Panel” thing:

This is what happens when you want it both ways...all the benefits of a free market health care system...paid for by the government. The government can turn on you, not to mention that they’re diametrically opposed.

The problem with these 25% Democrats is that they think they are still John Kennedy type Democrats. They don’t realize that those type of Democrats are long gone. My elders were all of this type.

The seniors in S FL from NY (liberals) are not going to enjoy being thrown into Medicaid with the poor, minorities and having to wait for anything. Their lives revovle around doctor visits. Many live to be in their late 90s due to the best healthare by far. The doctors are going to get killed too along with the FL economy. Already killed by Obama.

Those days are over thanks to Obama. Their kids and neighbors who are liberals will be hearing about this 24x7x365. Screaming about it.

These people are learning that voting for a guy named Hussein who is a mrxist has consequences.

Reading the “The Patriots History of the United States” and it constantly shows the US Government screwing those they appease. From the Indians, Slaves, Freedmen, Reconstruction, Industrial Age, etc. Every 20 years or so, those who were involved with the Federal Government in some form got screwed.

So here we are....Seniors like myself have paid into the Medicare system for 45 years...and the government already has thousands of my dollars....BUT, I'm still paying health care insurance to the tune of $200 a month. Medicare is a scre* job. If I had the cash from my SS and Medicare payments WITH INTEREST, I'd be wealthy.

The government stole from me and they're going to steal more from all us working and retired folks.

Not only are they admitting to the "death panels," they're positively giddy about "how much money they'll save us" - as Krugman said just the other day. Considering that it would be even cheaper to just take anyone who gets sick out back, snug the business end of a .22 up under their ear, and pull the trigger - that would definitely save us money! - that is what this attitude amongst the fascists will ultimately lead to - mandatory euthanasia for anything more serious, or complicated, than the common cold (with exceptions, of course, for the politically-correct diseases, such as AIDS, which will receive a king's ransom in medical expenditures).

“Obamacare” will be the total downfall of POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat Party. The more the bill content becomes evident, the more Obama and the Democrat Party will fall!!!

Obama is following the UK Islamification book which also includes do not trust Murdoch and Fox/Saudia News. Murdoch supported Blair’s Islamification of England.

Tens of billions are provided in freebies to “asylum seekers” from the third owrld in the Uk usually muslims. Well the UK is broke. They are going to close some NHS hospitals which probably look like feild hospitals in the 1800 on the battlefield - i.e. filthy, surly help etc.

Their idea is to all seniors to email doctors who probably will not even respond cause they will be union workers.

Coming to America under ObamCare. So you break a hip you can email.

These NYC retiree hard core liberals will be in a rage cause they are going to get dumped into Medicaid with the “schwartzers.” This is their “enlightend” term in Yiddish for African-Americans. They are NOT going to be happy about that.

A large number of retired Jewish New Yorkers are conflicted; thats why the favoribilty numbers are as high as 25 %. They want to be altruistic, but only if someone else’s ox is being gored. IMO, some of the really wealthy ones think they’ll be able to buy all the care they need, somehow (and note the exemptions on Medicare Advantage cutbacks for Florida). We’ll see about that.

Some of his hardest core supporters in NE liberal Dem retirees are waking up. They had the BEST healthcare ever. They are realizing they will be dumped into a Medicaid pool with the unwashed masses including minorities.

They are far less “enlightend” about minorities than you think.

Keep this up and the American Dictator will apply age criteria to the franchise and declare that Seniors no longer may vote.

The poorer ones in the many condos in SE FL will be thrown in the Medicaid pool with the “schwarzers” as many “affectionately” refer to them. These people had the BEST healthcare and they voted for Obama and lost it. They will be in a rage. They foolishly trust the Dems on anything and everything.

When I lived down there I recall the big evangelical churches hosted Bibi Netanyahu from Israel, the temples not as much. Jews and Christians came to hear him speak at the churches. Bibi warned people about people like Obama.

These liberal lemmings voted for him and now it is time to pay.
