Absolutely. If you were to run across a representative sample of the people in my rural county, you would not bother yourself to ask that question. Most people are so self-absorbed with their daily lives that they pay absolutely no attention to the world outside.

I wonder if SS recipients also get dinged for this unless they opt out. If so, the members of that group who are somewhat less mentally aware will be unlikely to opt out. Don't worry, Obama will find a way to spend the money they collect.

In fact, feeble minded people who have a job may not bother to opt out.
