BTW Soros is not loyal to any party persay though he favors the progressive/demo’s. He funds many from both sides and not always directly but thru his channels. So I wouldn’t take that into account when selecting a candidate.

Understatement of the Year! It is amazing how many people think by voting for McCain...they think they voted for a Conservative. Unfortunately there are still quite a few who do not understand what being a conservative really is

I can understand coming to CA to attend a Conservative Rally. However, CA is sinking fast - my wife and I are considering options. If my current employer gets their way (and it’s likely), I will probably lose at least $20,000 a year in salary, but my workload will increase.

I wasn’t born in CA, but grew up 90 miles north of Sacramento. My father was in the USAF, and we moved around quite a bit before my parents divorced. Both my father’s and mother’s ancestors originated in Virginia (1653 on my father’s side, and late 1800’s on my mother’s). We have relations scattered throughout the U.S.

I can relate. My dad retired in Washington, DC after 28 years in the Navy. So, a lot of my family is still there (northern VA). I went to high school there.
I go visit, because I love seeing my family.
But the nice thing is, then I leave. :-)

All of which means exactly squat concerning the political discernment or standing of a retired legal assistant from a liberal city in one of the worst states in the Union.
Some of mine go back to the land bridge to Siberia. That also means squat.
Northern CA was always like another state to me. Now SoCal is infested with illegals and I hate that, but San Diego is still my home and I love it. CA will never get fixed so long as democrats own both legislative houses, so color it gone.
