Just days before Christians worldwide commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus, a college student's production of a play depicting a Christ-like character as a homosexual is infuriating local residents who plan to protest this weekend's event.
"Corpus Christi," written by Terrence McNally, is the Tarleton State University project for student director John Jordan Otte, a 26-year-old homosexual who also says he's Christian.

They won’t because they (the left) fear MAN. Islam is the religion of man and through fanatiscm, man’s wrath is kindled against anyone who criticizes it.
Christianty is not centered on man but rather Jesus Christ. Through faith is how we see and experience Jesus. No one can see the power and judgement from God (yet). If it were so, then NO ONE would be mocking Him and Christ.
While the retribution from Islam (man) is immediate, it is finite and small. The retribution from God is not only after this life, but incomprehesible. These secural leftists have not idea of the unquenchible fire they are playing with.
As for this “christian” who is gay and is putting on the play, all I can say is that this is proof that the apostacy of the church is alive and well and we are most definitely living in the last days.
Well the point being that Christianity is continually mocked and not defended against this sort of thing - Islam just goes out and whacks people like the mob ....
The culture of the middle east is VERY conservative. Unfortunately, America - as viewed through middle eastern eyes - is a country of people who live unbridled lives of adultery, accept overt sexual promiscuity in their media and accept extreme immoral behavior such as homosexuality. Can you imagine homosexual weddings in ANY middle eastern country? Hell no!
This is why they hate us. They see us as a threat to their own culture. They see us exporting our immoral lifestyles and influencing their younger generations. They recognize it for the poison that it is.
Unfortunately, our Republican and Conservative leaders have failed miserably at explaining how liberal ideologies have caused and even invited the hatred of America by those in the middle east and that liberal thought and behavior endanger our very existence!
Republicans and Conservatives could gain support from millions of Muslims in this country by joining forces to combat the promotion of immorality, which is fostered in our nation's schools and taught in all too many liberal universities. Combating liberals could literally save our country from Islamic radicals who want to destroy us because of the ideologies promoted by liberal democrats.
The punk would be attacked and they woud find his severed head in a toilet.

Now all you have to do is explain why they like to kill each other, too. Sunnis vs. Shiites and so forth. I’m pretty sure gay marriage isn’t a factor.
You’re not wrong to the extent that our culture gives them a lot of things to point at, but if they all went away tomorrow, they’d still want to convert or kill us.
I have a natural attraction for food. I’m waiting for someone to write the “Jesus was Fat” play.

Beyond the fact that this is an evil thing to do, it’s also the typical “acting out” that we see over and over again.
They’re dragging out this piece of filth again, right before Easter. Typical. And yet a few people praying silently in the midst of a public sexual perversion festival on public property are arrested.
I can’t stand it.
They do it every Easter and every Christmas, it’s like clockwork.
I didn’t say totally ignore...there are other ways to reclaim decency, values, and honor in our society. But some of this outragous behavior can be ignored because they are only doing it to see what reaction they can get out of people.
