Regardless of this tyrannical take-over, in November I will be doing whatever it takes to make sure CONSERVATIVES win. I care not what party they belong to.

And, quite frankly, the way the GOP flipped the bird at Rush and the conservative base and shoved McCain down our throats, I kinda hope they lose to independents who are strong conservatives.

Considering their plans to steal our 401(k) and 403(b) accounts, I'd be happy to dip into my retirement to fund real conservatives who want to stop the socialists. If America loses in November, I won't be permitted to keep that money anyways (at least not without another civil war).

Ditto that!

And the bird flips at conservatives started with GW when he came out against the Swift Boat Vets against Kerry. And I could go on and on.

That’s why I would tell Levin if he’s reading to lay off us that train our sights on republicans as well as dems because we are not going down that GW road again period.

We must not confuse the “conservative” group of the GOP with the “RINO-Moderate-Eliteist” group of the GOP .. such as McCain and Graham, etc.

We can’t lump all the GOP into the same basket. We need to learn which members are conservatives and support them.

And .. there is no such thing as a “moderate” or “conservative” democrat.

You better care because voting for a Democrat conservative will give Pelosi one vote. That kind of thinking is what got us such numbers for the Democrats when people like you swallowed the Rahm koolaid that the Dems were conservative when they were not.

Even in OK we have few Dem conservatives and if we don’t have them, they are in short supply. Blame Romney for giving us McCain because the other candidates fell on their swords to stop romney.

Please let me know who you believe to be a “strong conservative” who is not associated strongly with the GOP!

Ron Paul? LOL... though supposedly GOP, he is one of the most laughable of all “strong conservatives”. I would much rather have Romney - at least I know he is concerned about the defense of the US, and honest fiscal conservatism!

If not Ron Paul, who are you talking about who will be strong voice for conservatism?

There are quite a few fairly good conservatives in the House and the Senate who are in the GOP. I know of none - exactly zero - who are with the Dems and are reliable conservatives.

Please let me know who you believe fills your “in November I will be doing whatever it takes to make sure CONSERVATIVES win. I care not what party they belong to.” if not someone in the GOP! I will be sure to promote them!

“I kinda hope they lose to independents who are strong conservatives.”

Is that like a kinda strategy? The Conservatives that win this fall will have Rs by their names, for reasons of law, history and convention. Doug Hoffman almost won as an I - but that was certainly an exception, in a state that allows and has a strong tradition of 3rd parties.

I applaud you for your support of Conservatives, but we need to deal with electoral and historical reality as well.

“In the history of the United States, not a single third party has come close to winning the presidency, only 7 3rd parties have even won a single state’s electoral votes and only 5 third parties have won even 10% of the vote.”

Did we have a conservative candidate in 2008?

The field was very weak. And it will be weak again unless someone steps up.

They definitely flipped Rush, and conservatives, the bird. As far as McNuts, it was a combination of the State Run Media and the liberal wing of the GOP! Unforgivable in both cases!
