Please tell me why millions aren't outside the capitol building with pitchforks, torches, tar and feathers?!

I thought there was a big difference between going along w/a procedural vote and saying yes to what’s coming on Sunday.

IMHO, Anyone that voted for either the House or Senate bill whether it passed or not is in danger of losing their seat come November.
Unless they are in a solid Commie district.
I've been swamped with iquiries from friends that have up until this point been totally apolitical asking what the hell is going on and what it means.
My response has been to email them links to FreeRepublic Threads that deal with the issues they inquire about.

Mr Surber misses the point - "
If there is any change even one word in the House version from the Senate version, you might not have a law." That issue was addressed in the SCOTUS 2005 case backed by Pelosi. "Deem and Pass" will be struck down on these constitutional merits it does not meet and the SCOTUS has never reviewed:
But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively.
