"“physician owned hospitals”"

What? Is that politico-speak for private hospitals?

I'm not in the medical field, but I've never heard that term before.

Thsi really sucks with all these “deals.” Aren’t there equity or uniformity clauses in the Constitution that prohibit this? Oooopss. - I said constitution.

DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about a smoking gun.

The Bank of North Dakota IS THE ONLY STATE OWNED BANK IN THE COUNTRY!

This pork hand-out is pure BS - the statists giving favor to their fellow “progressive” statists. They want all banks owned by the government.

This bank needs to be picketed. There have to be plenty of patriots left in Bismark. Here is the address:

Bank of North Dakota
1200 Memorial Hwy
Bismarck, ND 58506-5509

There are like, partnerships or LLCs composed of physicians in some areas that sometimes own properties. That’s why you’ll hear names like “Doctor’s Hospital” or clinic. It’s just a business entity.

The states can always call for a constitutional convention if enough ratify the action.

That would be enough to deal this down for good no matter what SCOTUS says.

Can we call for the impeachment of Reid or Nazi Pelosi over this one?

They are criminal. If you tried to offer a “deal” in exchange for a vote, you would find yourself in prison. However, if you use taxpayer money to influence a vote, then you get a pass.

The Dems are certainly making it easy for the oppostion to campaign against them....

Do you really want a vote for someone that was willing to sell out the entire country, your future and your childrens future to line his own pocket or get a few extra dollars for his state?

Georgia tried today. The State Republicans put forth a bill to allow an out for Georgians and the Georgia Democrats voted it out.

Slightly off topic - who are the other ND fed. rep's? ND's more conservative than SD, I thought...although there's absolutely no reason for them to have the only bank eligible for inclusion in the "piggy-backed" education bill...

This double-speak about benefits for "any state meeting the same criteria" is ridiculous, and an outrage!! Like the special deal for Louisiana...they are the only ones meeting the conditions spelled out in the bill, and never mind about that earthquake in Hawaii!! (did you read about that "gaffe" in your newspaper today?? me neither...)

“When the people find they can vote themselves money,
that will herald the end of the republic.”

Benjamin Franklin

I was thinking about that quote when I read your reply. They may be right, the experiment is over.

Well, Old Missileer, I don't know who you talked to up here, but you must have spent most of your time in the Eastern part of the state.

There aren't enough of us out west to vote the buggerers out as of the last election, but this time, the fur will fly.

When the Federal Reserve Note becomes worthless, maybe you might want to use the new oil/gas/coal/electricity/food-backed North Dakota money...

There are lots of private baniking institutions here, too. Every State used to have State Banks, before the War.
