It seems as though Home Land Security now has mobile mind reading trailers to set up at your local mall, or football game to judge your intent. Watch their video, its pretty enlightening
The last time someone read my mind, I got slapped pert near to perdition.
I thought it was just peachy, they march you in one door and fire the inspector beams at you and voila, your thoughts are interpreted as either being double plus good, or un-good. I think the movable partitions are a nice touch. I sure they will paint in all pink inside so as to calm your nerves too...

it checks your heart rate and other bodily functions. It wouldn't do anything to stop most terrorist because they believe they are doing gods will.
By definition it would be impossible to test it on real malefactors in a lab setting.

I thought it would make great sideshow museum trailer. Look—it already has ticket lines to get in and doors out the back to get the folks out—a perfect girnd show if I ever saw one. All it needs is a banner line and there you go!

Israeli security is trained to look for signs of nervousness. I don’t know exactly why, but Israeli military makes terrorists nervous. For this to work better, we would need to restore fear in our PSYOPS techniques and spread rumors of torture.
