A Conservative Running for CA Governor
Larry Naritelli for Governor ^

Posted on 03/16/2010 10:28:26 PM PDT by excopconservative

Great news March 10, 2010. As I was meeting with Republicans in Oceanside I received the word that I won the endorsement of the (California for )Independence Caucus with 69.1% of the vote. Thank you to everyone for your support. Alternative Energy creates deficits.mpg ...

Now lets go out and work hard to win one for the Gipper! It is time we brought some common sense back to Sacramento. California is going to lead this country back to wealth and prosperity.

It appears there will be a conservative candidate for the Republican nomination in the CA governor's race. Larry Naritelli is a Tea Party organizer. The videos on his site are informative of his views on the issues. The other candidates are Meg Whitman, a liberal purporting to be a moderate and a fiscal conservative, and Steve Poizner, a moderate-liberal purporting to be a solid conservative. Naritelli has name recognition of zero, so his candidacy will definitely have to come from the grass roots up.

If he runs as a GOPer in the primary, I'll surely consider him.

However, I don't vote for third party candidates, so if that's his ultimate game, forget it.

Good! We need new blood and not the rich gadflys like Meg and Steve. Lets see what Larry has to say—can be worse than what we have.

The sound is for the second video down the page. There are tabs on the left side of his page with his bio, statements on issues, etc.

They need to do some work on the website, but the info is there.

I’m glad there’s someone we can think about voting for now.

Believe it or not, Brown was actually starting to look like the lesser evil in all this madness. Whitman and Poizner sound worse than McCain for being rat moles.

What’s the world coming to? I’m sick of all these progressives infesting every corner!

“Believe it or not, Brown was actually starting to look like the lesser evil in all this madness.”

He is a career government employee, and would be owned by those interests; the very interests which are the root cause of fiscal mess we are in.

I cannot imagine any democrat being better than a Republican.

Me neither, I’d vote for Whitman or Poizner before I voted for Brown. I am aware they’d be very liberal. Probably 80% liberal. Brown would be 95%.

I prefer 80%.

I read some of the infor...not much experience directly in the political arena...I’d like to see his accomplishment history. Calif. has big, huge problems...not to mention a cabinet that isn’t easy to navigate. Whoever runs has to have some familarity with these things I would think. Or it’ll play out like Bo...whose in over his head.

>I cannot imagine any democrat being better than a Republican.<

Neither can I, but if Meg and Steve are progressives then what difference does it make? As a rule, Republicans are very different from Democrats, but I guess out here in California they’re using the “big tent strategy”.

I suppose that long road to communism with the 46 goals could include infiltrating the Republican party with subversive moles like Arnie, McCain and the like.

It;s getting to be disgusting, isn’t it?

My take is this - In order to win and defeat Brown, the candidate is going to have to be an anti-political class person. He is going to have to get a groundswell of popular support for ending the over-regulation and over-taxation that the so-called experienced politicians have subjected us to.

If a Tea Party supported Republican were to win the nomination, it would be a conservative vs. a progressive general election, the people vs. the politicians. I’d like to see it. If Whitman or Poizner are chosen, then it progressive light vs. progressive heavy. We’ve seen what happens in those races.

Yes, And I can agree with most of what you’ve stated...but a ground swell of people for a conservative won’t be enough for those who are looking for someone with a history of accomplishments...which means the are effective. It needs to be looked at as whoever gets to run has to have the ability to take on the job that Calif will surely require.

That can happen. There was this guy in Massachusetts named Scott Brown..........

Accomplishments...perhaps where he saw thru an effort from beginning to end...envolving him delegating responsibilities to others to see a project thru with favorable results.

Under my leadership California will lead our nation back to prosperity. My campaign will provide leadership and free market solutions that will make our state great again. I will turn back the clock on this horrendous left wing experiment and restore common sense to our government.

How?
