Seems like all the antennas and such sticking out of the top would cause cavitation, make a lot of noise and make them a sitting duck.

Seems like all the antennas and such sticking out of the top would cause cavitation, make a lot of noise and make them a sitting duck. Those can (presumably) be lowered hydraulically or perhaps electrically.
