Flanked by several parents who had lost children to gun violence, Mayor Richard Daley on Monday called for new laws to restrict gun sales and stiffen penalties for criminals who use them.

Yeah, cause Chicago’s strict gun laws have made it one of the safest cities in America. /s
Sorry Dick! It’s that pesky Bill of Rights again.
Dick could care less about the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. His minions in Washington DC are of the same mind.
If the article was accurate it would start:
Flanked by a cadre of armed bodyguards, Mayor Richard Daley on Monday called for new laws to restrict gun sales to law abiding citizens.
He should be required to disgorge his weapons.
He is only out to take firearms from law abiding people.
All he has to do is issue proclamations to his subjects in Illinois.
I used to wonder if people like him really thought that law abiding citizens that owned firearms were the ones causing so called "gun violence."
I know better now, he is just an evil anti-American gun grabber, because you would have to be an blithering idiot to believe that it was any other group than gang banging criminals with illegally obtained weapons committing "gun violence" against children.
More guns, less crime.
“Daley is delusional.”
Yes and let him demonstrate that fact with the ongoing decay of the democratic machine.
Yeah..because those gun stores are always so crowded with gang bangers lining up to purchase weapons. This should put an end to that.
