If Chuck the Schmuck and Lindsey Graham want a national ID card it is certainly not to curb Illegal Immigrants.

look for a deeper reason.

These two sweethearts are not against illegal immigrants.

IOW, “the Real ID Act didn’t go far enough with invading U.S. citizens privacy and states are stonewalling. Let’s step on the gas and federally mandate putting the burden on the citizenry to prove who they are and keep an eye on them instead of the tracking down illegal lawbreakers and sending them back where they belong.”

This is all such bull$h!t !!!

Just like gun control laws, all it does is data base legitimate citizens and never addresses the problem of illegal aliens.

Put machine gun towers along the borders, fire ever TSA employee and hire only amputeed and medically discharged (for war wounds) vets.

48 hours max ... America will be clean, healthy and moving an economy along that will make our heads swim.

FIRE CONGRESS ... EVERY STINKIN' ONE OF 'EM !!!!

GOOOH !

Get Out Of Our House !!

If the government is going to insist on a national ID card, it must also be required to vote!

I seriously doubt this is in the health care reform bill, because it would leave them open to a procedural objection that it is non-germane to the legislation, bringing things to a halt. This is a sinister, totalitarian idea, but I think it over-estimates the competency of the federal government. It is little more than an attempt at bait and switch. They CLAIM they are going to set up some kind of fool-proof ID system to prevent illegals from getting jobs. But FIRST they want to pass the amnesty, now, right away, immediately, please let us!! and THEN we'll get right to work on that ID system to prevent future illegals from working.

Except that they won’t ever get around to the ID system.

Look at DHS’s record in carrying out previous congressional technology mandates of this sort: the "virtual" fence, the "no fly" list, the scanning of incoming freight, the system that allows Border Patrol stations to communicate with each other, access FBI databases and identify criminals, I could go on, but you get my drift. None of it is ever done effectively. They spend billions and it doesn’t work.

Those who, quite reasonably, fear this ID plan can take comfort in how extremely unlikely it is to ever be established as advertised. It is just one more lie they are willing to tell in order to get their amnesty plan passed.

An administration official said the White House has no position on the biometric card, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

Yeah, they have NO PROBLEM tracking our every move. Are we buying twinkies, liquor, cigarettes, etc.?????

While patriots and constitution lovers clamor to close the borders, its ironic that the statists and constitution-snuffers will actually agree. Yes, they will also clamor to close the borders, although on their own schedule. If/when they manage to snuff liberty and private property and freedom, that is when they will agree to close the borders... to keep the rest of us IN.

Sometimes you just have to choose: do you want 12 million illegals here using healthcare free, driving without insurance, avoiding their fair-share of taxes, and other social problems OR would you rather carry a proof of citizenship card.

To most of us it is a no brainer

(By the way, do you object to carrying a drivers license?)

The deal will be that the US will give amnesty to tens of millions of illegals and in exchange there will be a national ID card needed for employment. That this national ID card will will keep out future illegal aliens because they won’t be able to work here

It’s a bait and switch. We will end up will millions of new Democrat voters and the enforcement will still be awful. Virtually no one will be deported, same as what you have today

Even now we have a SS number database that employers could be ordered to use when hiring new workers to sort out those with fake SS numbers. How come that is not used but we want to jump up a couple notches to a more serious national ID? The Feds don’t even utilize the national ID we have now known as the SS number, for immigration enforcement

Curb illegal immigration? I think it needs to be eliminated altogether, not curbed. I am so sick of this s***!

Neither side of the isle is interested in addressing the illegal immigrant issue because it serves their own interests too well.

Until the American people DEMAND an end to this foolishness, nothing will happen, and even then, nothing will happen.

It's time for a reboot.........
