Massachusetts may be on the verge being another "first" in America which could spread to other states.
On Thursday, the Massachusetts Senate votes on a bill containing draconian language that would criminalize criticism of homosexuality published on Web sites and other media with fines of up to a thousand dollars and imprisonment.
The language was apparently added to specifically target MassResistance which has publicly exposed many the homosexual and transgender movement's outrageous activities, largely funded by tax dollars, particularly regarding children. In addition, MassResistance has angered the homosexual lobby with hard-hitting State House testimony at several public hearings in recent months, and embarrassed legislators by posting videos of their anti-family remarks at State House functions and photos of them at gay lobbying events. A few weeks ago the Senate President's office called our office about a photo and comment we posted from the "transgender lobby day". To put it lightly, they're not too happy with us.
The bill would write following into the Massachusetts General Laws:
"Whoever publishes any false material whether written, printed, electronic, televised, or broadcast with intent to maliciously promote hatred of any group of persons in the commonwealth because of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, or disability shall be guilty of libel and shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both."
This is very extreme. Similar laws have been used in Canada and other countries to snuff out critical reporting on the homosexual movement and severely prosecute offenders. Note that the word "hatred" is not defined and is thus completely subjective. And "false material" lays the burden of proof on the accused, under the judgment of a court or tribunal. So even the threat of a long, expensive trial is enough to silence just about everyone.
The strategy of labeling of people with traditional values as "haters" (or "hate groups") and their reasoned arguments (or normal reactions to blatant perversion) as "hatred" is offensive and detestable. But the Massachusetts Legislature seems to have no problem with that.
Language apparently added at last minute by committee chairmen
This was included as a separate unrelated section of bill S2283, which is a very troubling bill overall. It is a comprehensive school "anti-bullying" bill which is being heavily promoted by the homosexual lobby and other special-interest groups.
The bill, S2283, titled "An Act Relative to Bullying in Schools", was drafted last month by the Joint Education Committee. Bill S2283 is a consolidation of sixteen anti-bullying bills filed at the beginning of the session, according to the State House website. The public hearing for those bills - at which MassResistance testified - was on Nov. 17, 2009.
However, (1) none of those sixteen bills had this extra language in it. Moreover, (2) the entire bill except for that section deals with students relating to other students regarding "bullying" in schools. But that section addresses the entire population regarding "hatred" of classes of people.
This was clearly put in afterwards, for the specific purpose of stopping groups like MassResistance.
The language appears to have been added to the bill by chairmen of the Joint Education Committee, Rep. Martha Walz (D-Boston) and Sen. Robert O'Leary (D-Barnstable), who have publicly taken responsibility for the content of the bill. Both of them have significant anti-family voting records and were visibly hostile during the public hearings that MassResistance testified at. In addition, they've been working closely with the coalition of special-interest groups pushing the "anti-bullying" bill, which includes the major homosexual and transgender lobby groups.
"Criminalizing Christianity"
There have already been instances in Canada where even posting passages from the Bible has been considered "inciting hatred" and brought trials and punishment on people of faith. Here's just one example: "Canadian Human Rights Commissions Bear Down on Christian Clergymen".
This is the direction that the homosexual movement wants to take America. And Massachusetts is their starting point. They are targeting MassResistance now -- but who is next?

One must expect that a coalition in the process of establishing its power will seek legislation consolidating its primacy. In short, they are now starting to give the law to those Americans that have indicated in word and deed they can no longer govern.
If this law were to pass I wonder what will happen to the churches in Massachusetts when they teach the Bible?

We have just received a report that the city of Cambridge Massachusetts went on pink alert today, after a street evangelist offered a piece of gospel literature to a passerby. The man was arrested and charged with libel under a law which criminalizes the publishing of any false material with intent to maliciously promote hatred of any group of persons because of race, color, religion, sexual orientation and other aspects.
The evangelists was first detained by a resident, Les. B. Ian, who made a citizen’s arrest, after the literature was judged to falsely accuse mankind of being sinful by nature, and to teach that homosexuality was wrong, and that Jesus Christ was the only way of salvation. Nearby Harvard University has already determined that these teachings are no longer true.
When the newly formed politically correct police (PCP) arrived the evangelist was charged with maliciously promoting hatred by virtue of the fact that one would not publish such literature unless he was an intolerant hate-monger.
As with most stories, there is a ton more going on than bullying in the school. The school administration cannot talk about it because it would be illegal.
Yes, the little girl was treated terribly. However, the word on the street is that that was only part of the problem.
No child should ever feel so alone that they kill themselves. But the reaction by the locals, and the political piling on is simply absurd. The whole thing reminded me of the scenes in the movie ‘Heathers” where all this kids are broken up over the suicide of a popular kid. Yet, they are really just getting into being on TV.
What ever happened to teaching kids to fight back. If someone had whacked one of these chicks across the face, or if a Dad showed up on another Dad’s doorstep with a tire iron, this crap would not have happened.
More to the point, our Constitution prohibits Government from passing any law which inhibits an individual's God-given right to practice his or her faith. The American establishemnt (noun, as intended) of religion exists without fear of intervention by depraved legislators, and does so by unequivocal guarantee of The LAW.
Ergo, this "Law" being bandied about in Massachusetts is as repulsive to America's core tenets as are fags before God. That said, Massachusetts, of all the states except perhaps California, seems to delight in its wanton approval of virtually all manner of disgusting perversions and societally destructive conventions.
None of which makes it right. Will never get past The Supremes. Gay rights? Okay, here's 10% off the price of Vaseline, now get the f*&k back in the closet.
