Hoffman, Again, Announces Candidacy for 23rd Congressional Race

WATERTOWN, NY - After a hotly contested race in 23rd Congressional District last year, Republican Accountant, Doug Hoffman, announced Monday that he will again run for Congress. Hoffman, who owns thirteen businesses, made his candidacy known today in the form of a letter on his campaign Web site.

During an interview Tuesday with the Gouverneur Times, Hoffman admits "I've been campaigning behind the scenes."

Is he a decent, honest man who will uphold the Constitution? If so, he is what we need and want, I would think.

Absolutely! Brown’s a dud. A needed dud at the time, but a dud nonetheless.

Brown was a matter of moving the ball inches. Hoffman could be a touchdown.

We tea partiers will get big wins, little wins, big losses and little losses but we have to keep pushing forward.

Questions: (1) Will there be a challenger in Republican primary? (2) If he lost in the Republican primary against someone who is less conservative, will he run again as an independent?
