Isn’t this the same Nathan Deal who sent the letter to the White House last November asking the Obummer to send proof of his eligibility. I sense “Lou Dobbs Syndrome”. Question the eligibility and resignation happens!

Could Deal's resignation have anything to do with this?

Wouldn’t surprise me.

Some people just need to have their feet held to the fire. (you know, to keep them from getting cold)

He's announced he's running for governor.

No, I think it has more to do with this.

If Obamacare goes through in part because he has resigned and left a vacant seat, I don’t see how that will help his campaign for governor. If that happened, I wouldn’t vote for him for dog catcher.

I wonder if TOTUS’s boss promised him that ACORN would vote from him if he ran for Gov.

No, I think it has more to do with this.

So he is throwing the whole country under the bus to suffer the catastrophic 0bamcare, just so he can satisfy his own selfish desire for more power?
If he goes through with this, we have to do whatever we can to help his opponent(if he is any good) and trey to make him lose in the primaries

What is this guy thinking!!!

He's thinking like all politicians, which is, that it is his professional duty to put his own self interests above those of the people that elect (hire) him. He is in office to amass money and power for himself & his backers, not to please or serve the citizens.

There just has to be a way to terminate professional politicians and political dynasties. We deserve better.
