Here's the coverage (only 1 min 21 secs in length) by WISN-TV Milwaukee of Paul Ryan's spectacular job yesterday and Obama's quick follow-up with him after the summit closed.

Clearly, Ryan was the smartest guy in the room and probably the smartest guy in Congress. Glad he’s on our side.

Not a lot of eye contact from Obama. He’s weak.
Notice that at the 0:41 mark Obama points to Ryan’s left arm and says “it’d be a shame if something were to happen to your arm, you know what I mean?”
I really enjoy listening to Paul Ryan when he speaks. He knows his stuff. Wish we had about 500 more like him on the hill.

Except for the Pubbies displaying a bit more spine than usual, that dog and pony show from Blair House was a waste of time and otherwise perfectly good electrons.
The biggest health issue evident was that Obama — who hijacked around 33% of the time — requires immediate treatment for a serious case of verbal diarrhea.

Rep. Ryan is one of the brightest people in the Congress and he has a reputation as a very hard worker. Wisconsin and the the other 49 states (or is that 56 states) are lucky to have him. Re: pinning back Obambi’s ears - he also has the gift of “Irish diplomacy.” The ability to tell a man to go to hell in such a way that he looks forward to making the trip.
Obamao thinks that a friendly picture of himself and Ryan will hurt Ryan.

Bambi loves that aggressive hand-on-the-shoulder move. Remember when W invited him to the WH and he pulled that? Said he apparently couldn’t help it since he’s “an alpha male.” No, you’re a prick.
It’s Kabuki theater.
This was not the first time Obama has heard both Ryan’s ideas and what Ryan was saying at the summit. That Obama then went over to Ryan and tried to make it appear that this was something that they should now talk about is disingenuous and was made for the cameras, to make it appear that Obama was really listening to Republicans. Obama hogged the discussion, and Ryan’s ideas have been out there for over a year now. Why this late in the game is Obama suddenly interested in what Ryan has been saying for over a year? It’s all political theater on the part of Obama.
I had the privilege of listening to Ryan this morning on the local talk radio station. He had some VERY interesting things to say about the summit yesterday, and about a talk he had just had at the gym with a Dem.
1. He said the Dem Congresscritter at the gym told him they are going to proceed, come hell or high water. The leadership wants it too bad, and they do not care about asking their members in risky districts to walk the plank for Pelosi/Reid/Obama
2. He said he thinks Obama was genuinely surprised to hear what Ryan was telling him. He said he thinks Obama really feels that anyone who is against the health care bill just doesn’t get it. Ryan said Pres Bush told him the worst part of being Pres is you lose touch with reality. Ryan said Obama is surrounded with yes men who will not tell him the facts, they only tell him what they think he wants to hear. Since Obama doesn’t have the facts and relies on what his sycophants are telling him, he refused to believe Ryan was speaking the truth to him.
3. Ryan said he was nervous about going toe to toe with POTUS, but said he told himself ‘This is about the future of the country’, so he had to tell the POTUS he was wrong on his facts.
4. Said he was pumping gas last weekend in Janesville and guy came up to him pleading with him to stand up for the common people and keep gov’t out of our lives. His town halls, phone calls, etc have been overwhelmingly the same sentiment and he listens to what the people are telling him Said the POTUS is so insulated he has lost touch with the folks.
