Hiya Rodger,

I read this earlier, and have been sick to my stomach ever since. It started when that fracking incompetent marxist carter made zumwalt CNO back in the 70s. zumwalt was probably the WORST CNO in my memory. And quite possibly in the history of the country, at least until the current CNO and SecDef.

Toward FREEDOM!

First: I have a major problem with our women being in combat. Sue me..

Secondly: although women can apparently operate combat aircraft as well as men, what will be the reprecussions when they are shot down? And it's getting close. Personally, I don't think most women fighter pilots have as much KILL instinct as men.

Third: Why the f**k has not DOD acknowledged the reduced readiness due to pregnancies?

Finally: What exactly is wrong with our current CIC (nevermind there) and JCS and Admirals who want to put women on submarines? My gawd, are the JCS and Admirals involved never been on a sub? I have as a visitor. I don't give one shit about about women having the same opportunities as men when comes to national defense. Tough sh*t.

You don't screw with our Boomers nor Attack subs. They are our first and last line of defense. Our Tridents are the deterrent to nuclear war.

WTF? If these PC assholes want to prove women are as capable as men, then put them on their own submarines and see if that can work. Don't mix them with men who spend months under water in a confined can, and expect them to ignore women, unless ALL those women are dykes!

This is the most stupid idea I've ever heard of.

Furthermore, what happens when some couple gets together on a nuclear Trident and the woman gets preggers, as so happens, what? The nuclear deterent of the Trident is compromised by having to surface (giving our enemies location) to unload the baby-maker access to port hospital facilities? Or does the Navy Corpsmen have to deliver a newborn in case the Trident can't surface?

Yes, it takes months for a woman to gestate, but what if she gets pregnant before deployment and doesn't know it? What? The sub has to carry piss tests? Can you envision a pregant woman with all her difficulties on a nuclear submarine?

This is insanity!
