Why do most men die before their wives?
Because they want to.

Sure why not, save a few bucks on health care. I just want to know who decides who dies and who lives.

If people were more educated about what euthanasia really means and what it inevitably leads to, it wouldn’t be so popular. If that figures are even correct.

Well, I can see where living in Canada could lead most people to consider suicide on demand. Sorta like Norway without the fjords, saunas, and high percentage of blonds.

“...67% of all respondents supported legalizing euthanasia, while 77% of respondents from Quebec supported legalization, and 75% of those from BC.”
I think that those folks need to show their support for euthanasia by stepping up to the plate and literally take a bullet for the team.

What I'm suggesting is that the majority of Canadians don't actually understand the question, Schadenberg reiterated. If they did, they would feel far more unsettled.*************************
That sounds very likely. I wonder what the quality of TV and newspaper reporting is?

If I lived in Canada, after enduring a few of those winters, I’d want someone to do me in, too!
(Is this the result of govt run health care? “You are worthless, we don’t want to pay for your care anymore so off you go”?...nice...)

Wait until it become involuntary. This is most likely an "I support it on paper for everyone else, but when it comes to ME.." sort of issue.
My Brother in law relinquished his US citizenship and is now a Canadian. Professor of Ethics doncha know, who went on sabbatical in the Netherlands to study this very subject. His thesis on the subject sits on my inlaws' coffee table.
The eldest, the brilliant golden child who can otherwise do no wrong is NOT, however, my in laws' Power of Attorney. Guess who is? My "black sheep" middle-son conservative husband. Gee, I wonder why that would be?
