Poll: Reid could win in Nevada — if tea-party candidate runs

His favorable rating stands at a sparkling 35/58 and previous polls have found he’s all but finished if forced to run head to head against Sue Lowden or Danny Tarkanian. But toss a little third-party tea on the gears and magical things start to happen, my friends. Which, of course, is precisely why Palin’s been nudging tea partiers lately to pick a side. As Groundskeeper Willie would say: I warned ye. Didn’t I warn ye?

well i have predicted and will continue to predict that in any race where the tea party or conservative third party runs they will pretty much hand the election to the Dem

All the reason to point out, and point out hard, any 3rd party candidate in this race is a cheerleader for Harry’s Reed (sic).

What stupidity could possibly result in a third party run? The time to select a conservative candidate is during the primary.

Any right leaning 3rd party that tries to hand it to the rats should be served rotting fish.

Then it would be a darn good idea for the GOP to run conservatives and not RINOS to limit the number of races where conservatives need to run 3rd party.

Yes, this ahole may yet win. What a travesty and what an utter embarrassment for Nevada if we send him back.

H.W. Bush left it wide open for Perot.

I don’t know what it is about the elite GOP, but they don’t want popular no matter what. They don’t want conservatives, they didn’t want John Birch anti-communists, they don’t like small businesses. Big farm, finance, business yes. Everyone else, shut up and vote.

Reid’s had a bit of an uptick since obama stopped by with a Vegas bribe.

In this race, I agree a third party will cause the country harm. However, if the GOP doesn’t figure it out quick, I and millions of others will cease to care about that distinction and we will revolt. This problem is cause by liberal GOP leadership, not Conservative third party candidates.

Look deeper. That “tea party candidate” is being supported by Dems. Nothing but a ruse to re-elect Reid.

The time to vote you hopes and dreams is in the primary. The time to vote which side will hurt the country less is in the final election. “Conservatives” who won’t close ranks after the primary are closet Demoncrats.

“well i have predicted and will continue to predict that in any race where the tea party or conservative third party runs they will pretty much hand the election to the Dem”

Well, you might well be correct. Lets hope that the GOP agrees with you and steers right.

I agree. The Tea Party needs to get out of the way.

Besides, the Democratic party can sabotage us this way.
