...hahaha, if their destroyer weighs 1,400 tons, it must come with a remote control.

Going into detail, the naval official added that the destroyer is the first vessel manufactured by Iran that was built by combining several segments to form the hull. "The destroyer's hull is made up of 29 parts which were connected by the most sophisticated methods in this industry," he explained. Henry J. Kaiser, please call the office!

True. The Allen M. Sumner class from WWII tipped the scales at 2,200 tons.

Even the oldest Perry Class Frigate would have fun sinking this POS. Many might know they removed the missile launcher from the Perry Class Frigate, but the helo still do there job and pack a better punch now-a-days.

"Henry J. Kaiser, please call the office! " Did you know that his shipyard could turn out liberty ships in less than a week? They were some 400+ feet long and over 2500 were built during the war. It's one of the most remarkable feats of the American industrial machine, perhaps ever.

The new Jamaran destroyer is #76, crew 120 or so.

The fastest build on a Liberty was 4 days,15 hours and change at the Kaiser yard in Richmond,CA. Truly an amazing feat. If you look on Google Earth, you can see the remnants of the yard still there, mostly as ruins. I’ve driven around the area, but couldn’t quite make out the exact location. They do have a Victory ship there being slowly fixed up as a museum.
