In his State of the Union speech, President Obama tried to offer a mea culpa of sorts for the unraveling of his health care bill. Calling health care "a complex issue," the president said, "I take my share of the blame for not explaining it more clearly to the American people."
Mr. President, you are correct. We Americans don't understand.
However, our lack of understanding is not because we're incapable of deciphering complex issues. Rather, we don't understand how Obamacare itself is supposed to make our health care system any better.
Here is a short list of what we specifically don't understand:
(Excerpt) Read more at americanthinker.com ...
The only thing people need to understand is that any federal version of health care is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically list health care as a power granted to Congress. The people are not bound by any unconstitutional act of Congress. This is the point people need to stress to their politicians!
Nailed it.
We STUPID AMERICANS know just enough about Obamacare to know that ... we DON”T WANT IT!!!! Don’t see where we NEED to know much more.
Obama does not get it. We do not want him to keep spending money he does not have to buy votes for his party. Why is he working so hard to make the majority of the country angry?
AMERICA UNDERSTANDS BULLSH!T WHEN WE SMELL IT! FUBO!
LLS
And about those stray dogs and cats in the plan that just happened to take away our right to keep our own doctor???????????
Why does WASHINGTON have to worry about Health Care laws. Why can´t State Capitols and State law makers figure it out, or Mayors of large cities... I think that problems get solved by at the local level than giving the power to people in the Belt Way... Experience in history shows us that they are VERY expensive administrators of human resources. WHY not have car insurance mandated from Washington, and a Health Care bill for CATS...have EVERYTHING we have taken over by the people who want to RUN, I mean RUIN our lives.
But most will be bound by the lack of any options once this thing is in place.
No government unit should be concerned with healthcare even to the point that insurance should not be offered on government plans to government employees of officeholders. Everyone should pay for their healthcare, or insurance if they desire it, themselves. It is not a function of Constitutional government beyond treating soldiers’ wounds.
Because he thinks that we can all be bought, which is what “The Chicago Way” really means. That is what I believe he means by “not getting our message out.” The voters haven’t been convinced about what wonderful pork and goodies will accrue to them if they go along with his plan. What he doesn’t know is that the broader US isn’t Chicago and “his” money is no good here.
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.

Obama says slight fix will extend Social Security

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.

The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees in fiscal 2010, Matz said. We took them at their word, and I cant believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward, he added.
Bambi doesn't keep his promises...so buyer beware.
Obamacare is a vehicle for taxation and the looting of such confiscated earnings while exerting control over the populace and redistributing the quality of care to the permanent dependent class.
What's not to understand here?
