I clicked a headline this morning and my browser application (Internet Explorer) closed.
A lot of folks (including me) would go without the internet, if that was the only browser available. I stopped using it years ago because of the infamous security issues.
Firefox has been a great and stable browser for me, but every once in a great while, it'll do something like what happened to you.
